We can’t say it often enough – we love being part of the Elbridge and Jordan community and are thrilled and delighted every time one of our neighbors chooses to become part of our dental patient family. It is our primary goal to help keep your smile healthy and strong and that means offering you the very best dental care possible supported and supplemented by advanced technology and progressive techniques. We simply won’t offer our community second best. It’s what we offer our own families – and we think yours deserves the same.
From the moment we answer your first phone call, our focus is on you – getting to know you, discover what you need, and find out how we can best and most efficiently meet your expectations. If you need help with a specific dental problem, we work hard to get you into our office the day you call. If you are scouting for a new dentist and want to start with our comprehensive new patient exam and cleaning, we can get you in quickly for that as well.
Once you arrive, we will show you around the office and introduce you to your hygienist who will begin your exam. This part of the exam will involve intraoral photos, x-rays, and a periodontal charting during which we measure your gum pockets and evaluate for possible signs of gum disease. Once the hygienist’s exam is completed, either Dr. Ohnezeit or Dr. Cronk will come in to talk to you and complete the exam which includes examining your head and neck, your teeth, and your soft tissues, checking for signs of damage, decay, infection, oral cancer, and even symptoms of TMJ disorder. The doctor will also look over your intraoral photos, x-rays, and gum-health assessment.
If we find any problems or issues, we will discuss your options and co-plan a treatment direction. We also take plenty of time with you – with no instruments in your mouth – allowing you to ask questions, bring up concerns, and express your desires for your smile.
We always explain everything in as much depth as you are willing to let us. We believe knowledge is power and have a variety of educational resources to help you be as informed about your oral health as you want to be.

Comfort. Who knew you could experience so much of it at the dentist? Walk in our front door and you are greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly, caring faces. If you come early or are waiting for a patient, relax and read a magazine in our tranquil reception area. If you are heading into a treatment room, you can sit back, breathe a big sigh of relief and feel your body settle comfortably into our award-winning Adec chairs. Ask us for a pillow and a blanket and you may just sleep through your whole visit. For kids who have a hard time settling into an adult-sized chair, we offer special booster seats. And to keep everyone informed and entertained, we have big screen TVs in the treatment rooms and WIFI available throughout the building. Your smile – and you– never had it so good!
Payment Options
While we are not in network with any dental plans, we can submit your insurance forms for you to optimize your benefits. For those who prefer not to use dental insurance or don’t have it, Jordan Elbridge Family Smiles offers an in-house dental plan – Assurance – to help you better afford your dentistry. We also offer third-party financing through CareCredit and accept Visa and MasterCard, as well as personal checks.
